Crisp`s Dairy Treat in Ashland

The food is always good , last couple times I've ordered a burger and still they give me a cheeseburger. Sometimes you just don't want cheese. . but the food is ALWAYS good !

Have eaten there for 30+ years always loved their hotdog sauce.Wanted to share this concern as of 3/24/20. I just ordered a hot fudge cake, and watched while it was made. Worker used her bare fingers to poke the cake deeper into the cup. No gloves or any other measure used with consideration of the consumer. This didn't sink in until I got home. At which point, the yet uneaten ice cream went into the trash. Concerning practice at present.

I had a strawberry short cake and it was absolutely delicious! Quick and easy! Definitely reccomend.

Stood in line 10 mins after someone told mme they would he right with me. 4 other people behind me in left before i decided to finally leave as well. Food good when they will wait on you but they dont wear gloves and you see alot of nasty habits broke when youre standing there standing in the line waiting on someone to take your order

Great local drive in. Always busy in the summer months. The ice cream counter is quick but be prepared to wait about 15-20 min. if you plan on ordering food.

The lines are long but it is definitely worth the wait. The ice cream is great and the food is delicious.

I've always liked Crisp when I would get it. But they need to put up some signage with "order here" or "pick up here" so people who don't come to wrong windows or wait forever at the wrong one.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant literally my entire life. I’m not sure if the food has always been bad and I’m just more aware than I was as a kid, or if the quality has declined in recent years. I will usually go here once every six month or so because I crave the food that I remember growing up with, but it always falls way short of my expectations. For example, the past few times we’ve ordered mozzarella sticks, there have been at least one or two with no cheese in them and the breading is overdone. I think they literally cook the cheese out.

Would have given it 5 stars but the milkshake I we ordered was to thick to drink. Great food otherwise.

Sadly, we were disappointed with the quality of food served today. Our chili dog didn't have a hot dog on the bun, which was so soggy it fell apart coming out of the wrapper. For the price we paid today, we would've been better off going somewhere else with our $20. Don't know if/when we will return.

Food is good. Service is minimal. They never answer the phone to place an order. Ugh.

Another one of my favorite places to eat. IMO just what you want from a dairy boy type place. Hotdogs, hamburgers, crinkle fries, milk shakes, etc. All good food if you ask me. They are fast and organized. I like their system. Will return every week for some dogs!

Since moving here in 1969 never disappointed with what ever you order there to eat. But the hot dog sauce and onions rings will always be the favorite on my list.

This place is very popular with the locals. I personally would still rather travel to Kenova for Austin's. I feel like the ice cream is just generic ice cream I could get anywhere else. The food is just generic hotdogs and burgers as well. Nothing special, just cheap fast food.

Great place to eat always have been

Across from Armco Park, behind Speedway. The food is made to order and served piping hot. Their ice cream is the best around! Hand-dipped, soft-serve, floats, milkshakes, banana splits...all in a variety of flavors. Everyone should eat here at least once, but I guarantee once you have, you will be a repeat customer!!!

They do not wear gloves making food. I have watched them so so many times handling cash, cards then go pick up a brownie bare handed and without washing. I stopped eating there after that. Every time I was there, no one wore gloves. Cooks in the back. Barehanded making hotdogs/burgers etc. Fry cook dropping onion rings/fries barehanded. I use to eat there few times a week with family. Now hardly ever go and if I do, I will only order things they do not have to actually touch. (Shakes is bout it) Just watch the next time you go. I hope they prove me wrong but watch...

I moved away 28 years ago so every time I get to go home that's my first stop. Love the BBQ sandwich with cheese and coleslaw also the same for the footlong hotdog.

The ice cream here is great and the people are friendly there's then old timey Drive-In feel to it. I haven't tried the food yet just the ice cream keeps me entertained

Decent shake, hotdogs were good. Worth a try, has a vintage feel to it all.

Okay, for real, this place is 100% nostalgia and 0% edible. The food you get is smashed and sloppy. The hot dogs are boiled and the hamburgers are thin frozen patties. You would be better served to go to McDonald’s right next door. This place is a ghost of its former self and should honestly just close its doors already. They are proud of how long they’ve been in business rather than actually being good at said business. Even if you are the only car they will still take 20 minutes to get your order ready and believe me it’ll be a letdown. -10/10 would rather eat dirt.

If the employees would stop leaving phone off hook for hours art a time this place would do a lot more business

Loved this place in the past but quality definitely has gone down. Hamburgers were dry and cold, onion rings chewy and over brown. Had to go back to window to ask for straw and ketchup. Sadly won't be going back😔
